Job description

Job Title: Final Test Technician (Device)

Summary:
NSTAR Global Services is seeking a Technician with a device background to work in a fab final test area.

This position will be working on the equipment and systems specified. You must have previous experience working with these tools, and preferably a Vendor Training Certification on them. It is ideal if your last experience with these tools was within the last 18 months. Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer or Customer Service Engineer is also a plus!

Duration : 1 Month +/-
Compensation Range: $23-$25/hr
Other Compensation:
All NSTAR employees working longer than 30 days are eligible for the following benefits: Health, Dental, Vision insurance, 401K, Annual sick leave, Vacation time, Paid holidays.

Must be flexible to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and/or overtime as required.

% Travel: Travel and per diem expenses to be provided

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
1. Proficient on the toolset(s) specified, and demonstrate the ability to learn new tools or tasks while onsite.
2. Perform specified duties with limited support or assistance.
3. Complete repairs, installs, or other assigned tasks while actively responding to FAB issues.
4. Ability to effectively use hand tools, meters, scopes, and other pertinent specialized equipment.
5. Follow all checklists and procedures.

Specific Tool/Process Experience Required:
1. Device testing equipment
2. ASM Testers
3. Device background
4. Ability to analyze E-test data

Qualifications/Background Required:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 1. Well developed technical communication skills, as well as strong and effective written and verbal communication skills.
2. Ability to understand customer process and assume responsibility for customer satisfaction.
3. Flexibility to work on shifts (8 to 12 hours), overtime, stand-by, on-call, holidays, etc when required.


Physical Requirements:
1. Strong manual dexterity.
2. Ability to lift, pull or push objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
3. Ability to work in constrictive attire.
4. Strong hand to eye coordination.
5. Ability to work at elevated heights (i.e. on ladders, stools or other assistive devices).
6. Ability to work in confined spaces.
7. Sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.

Education/Experience:
1. Electronics degree

Computer Skills: Basic Microsoft Windows and Office knowledge
